Food

Goal – Celebrate and recognize Local (Food) Heroes with newspaper articles and/or tangible forms of recognition (window decals, certificates, plaques, etc.).

Short term goal - (6 mo.) – Work with Valley restaurants and other sources to identify several heroes of sustainable practices in our post COVID economy.

Action Plan – Joining with the Materials group to identify individuals or groups in Ketchum, Sun Valley, Hailey and Bellevue that exemplify the best sustainable/environment friendly practices in our area restaurants. We will determine ways to celebrate individuals/restaurants who are using sustainable practices with some sort of decal, menu statement, poster, etc.  We also will collect information on the practices employed by these restaurants and make this information available to all Valley restaurants.
