Goal – Reduce food waste through composting by increasing the number of restaurants utilizing composting services via Clear Creek Disposal.
Short term goal - (6 mo.) – Work with a variety of Valley restaurants to promote use of composting services in our post COVID economy.
Action Plan – Joining with the Materials group to develop a survey to contact restaurants in Ketchum, Sun Valley, Hailey and Bellevue. We will identify what restaurants are currently composting via Clear Creek. We will determine ways to celebrate restaurants who are composting - decal, menu statement, poster, etc. We will contact restaurants currently not composting their food waste and see if they are interested in composting, and connect them to our new list of resources.
